Our Story

Pathways Church was established as a church plant from Jubilee Church in Maidstone, arising from a shared vision to see a new Christian community rooted in the village of Lenham. Following the closure of Lenham United Reformed Church in 2012, many of its members joined Jubilee, connected by a desire to one day return to the area to establish a new church. In the years that followed, a dedicated team was formed to pioneer this new work in the Len Valley.

This team began forming in 2014, made up of people with a heart for the local area and a desire to see God’s Kingdom come in fresh ways. That vision became reality in 2016, when Johnny and Estelle McCabe led the planting of Pathways Church. With a deep love for the community and a willingness to serve, they quickly became a trusted presence in the village and helped the new church take root.

In 2019, Ben and Kaat Doggett were approached to prayerfully consider taking on the leadership of the church. With a shared passion for discipleship and community, they stepped into the lead role in 2021, building on the faithful foundations laid before them.
In the years since, Pathways Church has continued to grow, step by step, as God builds His church in and through a community of people seeking to follow Jesus together.
